Dr. Moosa Kazim

Dr. Moosa Kazim is the Founder and Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at OrthoSports Medical Center, Dubai. He holds FRCS(C) and FAAOS credentials and has been practicing since 1985.

With more than 40 years of specialized experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing complex musculoskeletal conditions, he has helped countless patients restore mobility and return to active, pain-free lives.

Dr. Kazim received his training at one of North America’s most prestigious residency programs at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He completed advanced specialty training under globally renowned orthopedic experts, including Dr. Peter Fowler, Dr. Richard Hawkins, and Dr. Sigvard Hansen.

Further advancing his expertise, Dr. Kazim trained in diabetic foot care under Dr. John Bowker at the University of Miami, where he also served as an Assistant Professor. Before moving to Dubai in 1996, he spent a decade in the Washington, DC area as a sub-specialist in sports medicine, treating athletes and patients with complex Orthopedic conditions. In 2000, he founded OrthoSports Medical Center, driven by his vision to combine innovation, education, and compassionate care under one roof. Over the years, he has remained active in academic teaching, lecturing, and contributing to medical literature, while continuing to practice advanced Orthopedic and sports surgeries.
